Door roll

Direct driven, springless roll with integrated shafts; self-aligning grease-able sealed bearings; door does not require counterbalance device

Safety devices

Built-in brake mechanism provides additional peace-of-mind against uncontrolled curtain travel

Wireless monitored safety edge – all doors are equipped with a mandatory reversing or sensing edge to prevent entrapment.

Photoelectric safety sensors with guards – provide additional safety during door operation to help prevent injury and damage

Operation

Direct drive, integrated gear motor/brake assembly (up to 24” per sec up speed / 12” per sec down speed); drive assembly and limit sensors are factory pre-assembled; manual hand chain for power outage

Single open/close/stop push button station incorporated into control panel

5 year limited warranty coverage on all mechanical door system components and control panel hardware

  • Wear strips are on available option, please note however that the 20 PSF wind load rating is no longer available when wear strips are selected

  • Direct drive motors available in 1 HP, 2 HP, 3 HP, and 220 VAC 1-phase and 208/230/460/575 VAC 3-phase

  • PowderGuard® Max powder coat finish options are available in approximately 200 colors as well as custom matching to specification. On the RapidSlat® models, PowderGuard® Max is required on curtain to maintain warranty on finish​
  • PowderGuard® Textured powdercoat: Industrial textured powdercoat provides a thicker, more scratch resistant coat for added product protection available on brackets, guides and bottom bar
  • Vision lites on 18 ga. steel slats uniformly spaced of 3″ x 5/8″ (76 mm x 16 mm) or 10” x 1” (254 mm x 25.4 mm) ​

Powder Coat Color Options

PowderGuard® Max powder coat options are available in approximately 200 colors as well as custom matching to specification. On the RapidSlat® PowderGuard® Max is required to maintain warranty on finish.

PowderGuard® Max formula is four times harder than our PowderGuard®​ Premium, providing ehanced strength and durability to the finish and performs well in high cycle applications. Finish also provides easy to clean surface. Available in white, tan, and gray or select a color from approximately 200 RAL powder coat colors.
